He glared through the fog, desperately trying to catch a glance of his target, the light upon the hill. It had appeared a few nights ago, sending the tribe into uproar. Some claiming it was the intervention of the great mountain god himself, others convinced it marked the end of days.
As the fastest runner of the tribe, it was his duty to ascend the mountain and investigate the source of the lights. It was this duty that spurred him on, prevented him from looking for a way out. Heading for safety, out of the storm. It had been a nice day when he left, but the six hour hike over hill and dale allowed the weather apt time to turn against him.
Now he was on the mile long ridge, a gentle climb all the way to the peak. The perfect place for a storm to strike. Maximum exposure, no shelter and no vision, things couldn't get any worse.
A cross wind tore across him, causing every step to be a constant struggle to maintain his balance. Horizontal rain drops sped across his vision, making underfoot condition horrendous, impacting further on his balance. Occasionally, strong gusts of wind were accompanied by hail, leaving a piercing sensation on his exposed skin.
The odd rocky collection offered much welcomed cover, for the brief duration they lasted. He dropped into a prone position moving forward using his hands and knees. Trudging forward slowly through the mud, snagging on the rough shrubbery. He was nearly there, his hell was nearly over, but then he still had the return trip to make. He prayed to the great mountain god for a break in the storm.
When he reached the light, he fought to his feet. His limbs were aching and every inch of his skin was cut to ribbons. It wasn't exceptional, the source of the light, it was a similar colour to the wooden weapons that were comply used by the tribe, except it was more shiny and colder to the touch. It stood about twenty foot tall, with the light emitting from the top, an intense light capable of penetrating through the fog.
As he was about to set off, he noticed three more blue lights. These ones where at his head height and seemed to be approaching him. He watched as six more lights appeared, these ones where a yellow colour and appeared at either sides of the blue ones."Protect the teleport" the yellow lights disappeared momentarily before appearing again, "EXTERMINATE"
Museum of Human History, Washington DC, USA. - 23rd July 2013
Martha wondered why the Doctor had brought her here, he had a time machine, surely if he wanted history he could have experienced it first hand. But no, a museum tour it was, topic of boredom, the island of Bermuda. She had never seen the Doctor so obsessive about anything, especially something so trivial and out of the blue. He was happy though, so she conceded it best to indulge him, she didn't want to see the man she met again a few weeks ago.
She watched the Doctor look on with interest as the curator spoke of a tribe who occupied the island of Bermuda, before their apparent disappearance on the 7th of October, 1993 B.C, leaving the island unoccupied for the next millennia. It was of now interest to her, but the Doctor seemed to hang to each and every word.
Something about this whole thing made her feel uneasy, it gave her a queasy feeling deep in the pit of her stomach. She reasoned, the sooner he figured out the mystery the better.
Dominion of The Daleks - Episode 2/10
Now he was ranting on about geology, how a very rare conical rock about twenty foot tall and ten foot wide had formed on top of the mountain beside where this tribe lived. She had heard of this before, it was known as the singing stone of Bermuda. It was said that on a calm day, if you put your ear up to this rock you could hear a faint humming emanating from within.
Consequently, the unusual rock had been classified as a site of natural beauty. This succeeded in annoying every geologist in the continent, who each wanted a piece of the rock, in order to figure it out, and get their name in the hall of fame. Thankfully, you cannot conduct a scientific experiment on a area of outstanding natural beauty. The curator was in his element now, Martha just wanted out of here, she really wasn't feeling great.
A voice came from the back of the crowd, "It is true that there are in fact three of these strange geological rocks, isn't it? One in Bermuda, one in Miami and one in Peurto Rica" It was something Martha had expected from the Doctor, but she was pleasantly surprised when she saw that is was quite a good looking young man standing at the back of the group. He was tall, about six foot four, he wore a grey pinstripe suit and a plain black tie. " I have done a bit of reading on it, and it is my understanding that these stones coincide with the exact latitude and longitude co-ordinates of the corners of the area known as the Bermuda Triangle."
Smart and good looking, a perfect combination thought Martha, she was now more interested in him than the dreary curator. He was rather thin, and not very muscular, he looked like he needed to hit the gym for a few hard sessions. She noticed that she could see his heart beating, not that unusual in individuals of his posture. Maybe it was because she wasn't feeling well, but she could have sworn that his heart rate was double what it should have been.
The curator was angry at him, "The Bermuda Triangle is not the topic of this talk, please refrain from mentioning it. What is your name son?"
Something caught the young mans eye. He offered a mufflers reply "Mike Miller....excuse my for a moment". He walking briskly through the museum following a very tall bald man in a suit with the biggest head and palest skin Martha had ever seen.
Dominion of the Daleks - Episode 3/10
The rest of the group had moved on to the next part of the tour, leaving the Doctor standing alone staring into a map of the Bermuda region. He was tracing his finger between the known locations of the conical stones, forming a triangle.
Martha's mind was elsewhere too, she couldn't get Mike Miller out of her head. "Who was he Doctor?". She didn't get a reply, he was still staring at the map muttering random questions to himself. Martha placed her hand in his shoulder to attract his attention, she asked again. "Mike Miller, who is he?"
"I recognise the name, but then I would, it is about a common a moniker as John Smith. He could be anyone, why do you ask? He seems to know his stuff anyway, and seems to be taking an interest in these conical stones. “Oh, how have I been so stupid, put anything on top of a mountain for four thousand years, and the elements will cause rock formation. But who put it there? What would they want?"
Martha hated when he did this, he was intellectually superior to her, but he never explained in a way she could follow. Sometimes he tried, but when he got excited it seemed to slip his mind. "What are they?"
"They are teleporter terminals, three of them forming a teleport triangle, sending anything that passes thorough to a target destination. All those stories of disappearing planes, they weren't stories after all. But why have they stopped disappearing? Think Doctor. Oh. Oh ho ho, yes! They're out of range, the height planes fly at has increased meaning the teleports are out of range."
Martha still had lots of questions, including, who put the teleports there, why did they do it and where were they sending the planes. She suspected that the Doctor didn't know for sure either. He had his suspicions, he is bound to, he always does. One thing she knew for sure is that he would find out soon.
"Let's go Martha, I have a plan"
Dominion of the Daleks - Episode 4/10
The Doctor has had is fair share of bad plans, but for Martha, this one topped them all. The plan was simple, but stupid. She was to fly on a plane over at Bermuda Triangle, then the Doctor would impersonate air traffic control and tell the pilot to lower the craft due to a high altitude storm. He had given her an inter dimensional walkie talkie, well that's what he said it was like anyway, so that he could stay in contact with her, no matter where the teleport displaced her to. Along with this he had given her a personalised tele pad, the latest in RadiCorp technology, allowing a user, and anyone whom they were in direct contact with, to be transported to a recipient sonic device, in this case, the Doctor's trusty screwdriver. So maybe it was well thought out, barring one big variable, she was terrified of planes. It seemed silly having fought aliens, but something about the continual threat of terrorism and the breeding ground for infections, made her uneasy.
The Doctor was on Bermuda, he was atop the mountain examining the conical rock. He could see the plane in the distance, it was time to make the call. He watched on as the plane gradually descended.
The descent didn't feel gradual to Martha, she grabbed onto the seat in front of her as the plane dropped ten thousand feet altitude in a relatively short distance. A voice appeared over the tannoy "We apologise for your discomfort, due to unforeseen weather conditions, we required a drop in altitude to reduce the occurrence of turbulence. We will continue descending on a much more gradual basis until we reach our target altitude. Thank you for your understanding".
A chorus of whispering erupted around the plane, as people looked out of their windows. They were questioning the announcement, because as far as they could see, it was a very nice day with not a cloud it sight.
After another few moments of descent, that changed, drastically. Of all on board the plane, only one knew what was happening. The sky suddenly went grey as a dense fog formed around the plane. Torrential rain beat the sides of the craft as if striking a drum. Several lightning bolts passed the windows as the plane shook vigourously.
On top of the mountain, the Doctor watched on in horror as the plane was surrounded by precipitation and static discharges. Then, as suddenly has the mini storm had started, it disappeared taking the plane with it. The Doctor reached for his communicator, he was physically shaking. "Martha, are you there" a tremor was detectable in his voice, he was worried. "Martha". No response. He was now shouting into the communicator, "MARTHA!". He kicked out viciously at the conical rock causing a vertical fissure to develop.
Dominion of the Daleks - Episode 5/10
It was dark, the only light was provided by the planes ambient lighting system. The turbulence had caused the luggage compartments to open spilling their contents into the aisles. The oxygen masks had descended from the roof. Martha noticed a family, huddled together, and the father was struggling. A suitcase had fallen on his chest, and she suspected broken ribs. There wasn't much she could do for him, not in these conditions, as she fought her way towards him, she picked up a pen. When she reached him, she spoke quickly, " You are bleeding into your chest, you will die if I don't act fast". Before he could register what she had said, she stuck the pen into his ribs, removing the cartridge, allowing the blood to drain.
She heard the Doctor's voice coming from the aisle. It was the communicator, she must have dropped it during the turbulence. He was calling her name, she imagined he would be panicking, having seen the plane become engulfed by the storm. She fumbled around, feeling for the device, the lights were not sufficient to illuminate the aisle, so she was relying fully on touch. She dreaded to think what her hands were brushing against. She finally found it, under the body of a passenger who had not been so fortunate.
The Doctor was analysing the teleport, talking to himself while he worked. "This is impossible, this technology, I haven't seem it since.....no, that's not it. Something's strange, what's wrong with you. Oh, your one way! Why place a one way teleport, it's as useless as a Sontaran Nurse." He laughed at his own joke, sometimes he wondered why he talked to inanimate objects, it wasn't as if he was going to get an answer. He took the sonic screwdriver out if his pocket, and was about to use it to scan the teleport, before he was interrupted by Martha's voice coming from the communicator in his pocket.
"Martha"
"Doctor"
"Where are you? What happened?"
Martha prised the window cover open so as she could see outside. "It don't know Doctor, it is dark, it looks like a desert, except the sand is a crimson colour."
"Have you still got the Teleport to get back home?"
She quickly checked the area around where she had been sitting, "No, it got lost when we were transported, and I cannot see to find it, the lights are atrocious."
"Go to the middle of the aisle and hold up the communicator." The Doctor fiddled with his sonic screwdriver, placing it in a different setting, then activated it whilst placed on the communicator. Martha could hear the sonic, and just like magic the lights came on fully. The Doctor always amazed her, he was miles away, yet still able to help.
"Now then Martha, more pressing questions, at you alone? Cause if you are on Mars, like I suspect you are, who brought you there? And why? How come you still have air?"
The Doctor was right, Martha knew it, as did the rest of the plane, hushed whispers did the rounds between the survivors. A large banging noise occurred at the rear of the ship. A bright light appeared through the fuselage of the plane, cutting its way through. It was accompanied by a hissing sounds as it melted it's way through, it moved as it to cut out a chunk of the plane to allow access to the inside.
"Doctor, they're coming, they'll be inside in a few moments. Help us!"
Dominion of the Daleks - Episode 6/10
Martha frantically searched for the teleport pad, she would need it, if what was outside was a threat. Why she included a conditional, seemed odd, surely anything which pulled then across space was bound to have an ulterior motive. So she needed her way out. When she found it, she remembered what the Doctor had said, it would transport her and anyone in direct contact. She moved through the aisle, towards the family of six huddled in the corner. She noticed that blood was still gushing out of the end of the pen, he must have had a severe haemo-pneumo-thorax, he didn't have long left. She explained what the teleport what was, and that they could escape with her.
At this point the hull of the plane tore open, smoke rising from the newly forged hole. Shock waves reverberated down the plane causing Martha to loose her footing and fall back down the aisle.
The Doctor was helpless, an alien feeling to him. All he could do was listen, listen as his friend faced an impossible situation, listen as people died, listen as the creatures entered the plane.
Martha watched in horror as the Dalek came through the hole. They had changed, they were bigger, both taller and larger, and mor coloured. Different, but fundamentally Dalek, more ominous, more threatening and looking straight at her. She nodded to the father of the family in the corner, he knew what she intended. She approached the Dalek, "Dalek! You're a Dalek right? I know who you are, that's worth something isn't it?" She masked the terror she was feeling very well.
The red Dalek stared at her coldly, scanning her up and down. The Doctor's voice could be heard coming from the communicator. "Martha, use the teleport! Now! Whatever you do, don't take on the Daleks, you can't win."
"Exterminate!"
A small beep on the Doctor's communicator told him that the teleport had been activated. Where he expected Martha to appear before him, he was taken aback when a family of six appeared, the father being severely injured.
Dominion of the Daleks - Episode 7/10
The Doctor was infuriated, inconsolable in his rage. First he lost Jack, then Sarah Jane, then all those poor people who fell victim to the Cybermen, and now finally Martha Jones. It was his fault, they were all his fault. Everyone he touched, he lost. He screamed, as loud as he physically could, until the pain in his chest became too much. He cast a glance towards the family, who were a mix of joy and terror, joyous to have escaped the Daleks, but terrified as to the fate of their father. The mother caught the Doctor's eyes. "Help us! Please!"
The Doctor turned his head, "No! I'm done helping, I only make things worse." He fought back tears as he spoke the words, they just weren't him, and he new it. He fell to the ground, an emotional and physical wreck. "Five hundred metres that way," he pointed North, "there's a blue box, go there, here's the key. There should be medical equipment beside the door. Wait for me there."
Martha tensed, awaiting what surely was he fate, she closed her eyes and stood strong. She didn't want to die crying. The few seconds that followed seemed like an eternity to her, a deadly silence which was broken by a white, supreme Dalek, which had entered the plane. "Desist! Do not Exterminate! She is a companion of the Doctor, she will be of use". The Daleks lead her outside the plane, across the red expanse towards a colosseum like structure. It looked man-made, totally out of place on this alien world. Above the colosseum, crowning it like a jewel, many millions of miles away, was planet Earth. Home, no bigger than a pea.
When they entered however, it bore no resemblance to the great colosseums of Rome. For starters it was only semi-circular, at the centre was a huge computer system, to the left, an expansive mining network, with human workers, and to the right, as far as the eye could see, expanses of Daleks and Dalek Ships. It didn't take a genius to work out that the poor souls on the missing flights were taken here, forced into slavery, to build the might of this Dalek Empire. Martha wondered if this miserable existence was now her fate too. The supreme Dalek spoke as he moved to the central computer, "I will address the Doctor."
The Doctor jumped to his feet as the teleport lit up. A small screen emerged from within and turned itself on, it bore the image of a supreme Dalek.
"You are the Doctor, you shall fix the teleport."
"Fix? Is it broken" the Doctor couldn't help but laugh.
"It only operates in one direction, it needs restored. Earth will become the Dominion of the Daleks, and you shall deliver it to us"
The Doctor used the Dalek to vent some of his anger. "Why would I do that? What do you take me for? I hate you and you hate me. So what makes you think I will help you?
The image on the screen panned out to show Martha with two red Daleks either side of her. The Doctor's hearts skipped a beat when he saw that she was still alive. "Open the teleport, or your companion will be exterminated!"
Dominion of the Daleks - Episode 8/10
Pentagon Washington DC 2013
"Mr Miller, tracker on the plane disappeared a few moments ago, did you get any readings".
Mike Miller had been monitoring the flight, he had learned from the museum that morning that something was off. The woman, who had stared at him like she knew what he was, an impossible knowledge, something no human could know. The man at the map, who knew more than he let on. He was always good a reading signs, and this one told him something was wrong.
He had began his own investigation, using an array of equipment nothing like any of the workers if the pentagon had seen before. When he had heard from air traffic control that a plane was dripping into what he had considered the danger zone, he immediately set up widespread analysis of the area. Now he stood awaiting the results, he was normally a patient man, but when thing were serious, he didn't have time to spare. He checked his watch as the results appeared on screen.
He had exited the building in a manner of seconds, phone in hand dialling the presidents number. He was halfway across the car park, saturated by the bucketing rain before the president picked up. "Mr. President, I have detected a viable threat, my recommendation is to assemble the world leaders on the Valiant, I'm on my way to you now." He hung up as he reached his car, a Lamborghini Egoista. Sure it hadn't been released to the public, but there's nothing a chameleon circuit cannot do.
Mountaintop, Bermuda 2013
The Doctor knew there was only one thing to do. He had put Martha in this situation, so it was his job to get her out. He had fought the Daleks before, and he hadn't lost yet. Why would he now. "Alright I will open it, but you have to promise me, promise me this, you won't hurt her." The Dalek confirmed it's compliance, leaving the ball in the Doctor's court.
It was a small chance to save Martha, to alleviate some of the burden of his guilt. He activated the teleport. Not a decision the Doctor would have expected himself to make, but then he had been doing so all day, his decisions were off, ever since he had visited Dr. Mann's room in the Peaceful Passings home. To think of the decisions he had made since then, made him feel nauseous, deep in his stomach.
The Valiant, somewhere over the Pacific Ocean 2012
"Threat identified, Mr President, it's the Daleks. I'm glad I suggested coming here".
"Mr. Miller, last time the Daleks invaded Earth, this ship was wiped out in a matter of moments."
"It didn't have a Time Lord captain then though. I'm the Tactician, allow me to take a tactical lead here. I suggest you go with the other world leaders right to the centre of the ship. There is only one way in and out, I will hold it to my last breath. Leave me to deal with the Daleks."
Mountaintop, Bermuda, 2013
The Doctor watched as a superstorm formed out over the sea in the distance. The wind picked up, blowing towards the centre of the storm and the temperature dropped drastically. A few metres North, he watched as the family of six struggled forward, they were close to the TARDIS now, the Doctor hoped for their sake that they made it before the Daleks arrived.
A jet black sphere of cloud had now formed directly in the centre of the Bermuda Triangle. It was ominous and looming, something storm chasers would have called a doom bringer, and in this case, they would actually be correct. From the cloud emerged Dalek Ships, thousands of them, coming from every direction. Over the noise of the storm, a robotics chorus could be heard, coming from each and every Dalek, in every one of the ships, at least ten million Daleks.
"Earth is the Dominion of the Daleks."
Dominion of the Daleks - Episode 9/10
Dalek Ship, Bermuda Triangle
The Supreme Dalek approached the Emperor Dalek to receive his orders. The Emperor's voice was different to the rest, his tone was softer. He was bigger and immobile, and was entirely black. Unlike Emperors of old, the Kaled within was not visible. For the new paradigm of Daleks, this offered more protection. Supreme Dalek, you will descend to Earth, you will have the honours of killing our greatest enemy, The Doctor. The fleet will attack the Earth, and will only exterminate those who resist. The Doctor must be the first to die, a fitting extermination to the bringer of the Dominion of the Daleks"
The Supreme Dalek responded as all inferior Daleks do in the presence of their superior. "I obey!". His words chorused around the ship as all other Daleks joined in.
The Valiant, somewhere over the Pacific Ocean
The Tactician was being overrun. The Daleks onslaught was relentless, he had taken out at least one hundred, but they just kept coming. He was being forced down the corridor, each step closer to allowing the Daleks to reach the world leaders. He couldn't let that happen, he already experienced one loss of a planet, he wasn't ready to take another. Especially not this one, it was young, it was beautiful, and now, it was home.
He knew he was running low on ammo, he could tell by the feel of his weapon, he was aware of everything in the battle situation. He had developed a polycarbide piercing round whilst on Gallifrey, and he had replicated it here, the science wasn't too complex and earth offered him all the material he needed. He hadn't prepared for this though, he wasn't expecting this, a full scale Dalek invasion.
He uses his last bullet to take out an oncoming Dalek, and tossed his gun to the side. He turned and ran towards the door at the end of the corridor, activating the external shutter, the inner room was now impenetrable. He slouched against the wall as the Dalek came round the corner, a mere drone, about to take out the greatest Time Lord General to ever fight against them.
"EXTERMINATE!"
Mountain Top, Bermuda
The Dalek ships were hovering above the Doctor, no way out now. Perhaps it was time, his time, time to face up to his demons, time to stop running. From the central ship, three Daleks descended, a supreme Dalek, with an Eternal at each side. Their immediate action was to secure the TARDIS, his final hope, smothered.
The sudden realisation dawned on him, the family still had not reached the TARDIS, and now the Daleks stood in their path. He should have called, offered them some sort of warning, but what use would it have been, no one escapes the Daleks, especially not with the exposure offered by the mountainous ridge. Their deaths were on him now, another six to add to the millions that had died because of him. He would have felt remorse, sympathy, it would have left a mark on his conscience, but he knew he was next, the Daleks were coming, what was the point in worrying about trivialities.
Mars
Martha was alone, all the Daleks had teleported to Earth. She had been left here to die. To die alone in a colosseum in a graveyard of planes. It was starting to get cold now, the sun was disappearing and the Earth was no longer visible. Ever since she had left the Doctor, after the year that never was, she hand longed to hear the sound of the TARDIS. It got to the point where she was hearing it places it was not. She pleaded, that this once she would actually hear that noise, now her life depended on it, and she wasn't ready to die.
Mountaintop Bermuda
The Doctor faced the Dalek, this was it, this was his end. He was empty, he was tired he didn't care, it's time he suffered for his actions. Recent events had taken their toll on him, too much loss. He deserved whatever he got. He stood straight raising his arms out sideward, expecting the inevitable.

"Is the weapon ready for testing". Madame Kovarian sat upon her throne. Her empire of Silence, and it was only going to get bigger.
A worker at the controls, human, responded, "The ship is in place Ma'am, the weapon is ready, and it's radius covers all of Sol 3. Give the command."
"Good, Fire!" As he pressed the button to arm the weapon, she turned to one of the Silents beside her and whispered. "Do you know how to fire the weapon?" The Silent nodded in response. "Then kill him, he of no further use to me". She laughed as the Silent snapped the neck of the worker, the first victim or her new order, the first of many.
The Valiant, somewhere over the Pacific Ocean..
The Tactician braced himself for Dalek fire, he'd been hit before, several times during the Time War, the war that never was. He could recall vividly the pain as the Dalek beam penetrated each organ individually, usually causing it's victim to die in extreme agony.
The beam never came, the Dalek stopped in it's tracks. He knew what had happened, how could he know that? His memories of the last great Time Time War gone, replaced by memories of The Fall of Gallifrey. How was that possible?
Mountaintop, Bermuda
The Doctor awaited his fate, the Dalek continued to taunt him, it was delaying the inevitable, inflicting suffering on him, dragging out what surely must come.
A crash in the distance drew his attention, Dalek ships were falling from the sky. Completely unnoticed, bar perhaps a strange static tinge in the air, a genocide had been committed, for the Dalek is only a shell, and when the creature inside dies, it becomes an empty shell.
The Genocide of the Daleks, before they could establish their Dominion. Convenient for humanity, convenient for the Doctor, his choice had not brought about the end if his favoured species.
A crackling noise arise from the teleport, and the screen turned itself on.
The Valiant, somewhere over the Pacific Ocean.
"Well done Mr. Miller, exceptional work, I can see why you chose The Tactician" the President was congratulating him, more to show off his prised soldier to the other world leaders.
"May I speak to you aside a moment, Sir". The urgency in his tone was clear, the president excused himself and both men moved to the side of the room. The Tactician whispered, "I didn't do anything, whatever that was, and I think I know, that wasn't me. I'm not sure we are in the clear yet."
The President proceeded what he was saying quickly, withdrew his phone and sent a few texts. "Here's what's going to happen, I've called a press conference, and you are going to tell them it planned. We can't have people worried, let them think they know, it's safer."
The Tactician wasn't comfortable with the suggestion. "But what do I tell them?"
"Tell them this, you are the Tactician, and you are the protector of Earth."
Mountaintop, Bermuda .
A face appeared on the screen, a woman the Doctor hoped he would never see again. The woman who started a war against him, the woman who kidnapped his companion, and the woman who raised his wife, "Madame Kovarian."
"Hello, Doctor!" She always said his name with such venom, such hatred, spittle flew from her mouth. "Did you like my little trick with the Daleks? You owe me one",that thought sickened the Doctor. "Here is how this is going to work, I shall talk, and you shall listen, I don't have much time, Gallifrey awaits.
"Gallifrey?" The mention of his home world attracted the Doctor's interest, he knew what she was saying was impossible, and he was sure she knew it too. The entire war was time locked, even if the Silence had time travel capability, which he was certain they did, they could not enter a time lock. "It's Time Locked, by me , didn't anyone tell you that?"
"Oh but Doctor, every lock has a key, otherwise, what's the point. I found the most important key in the universe, I had to kill to get my hands on it, but that comes with the territory, I have a key to the Time Lock", she let out a rather disturbing laugh, "and Gallifrey shall be mine, after all, if I control Gallifrey, I control the universe".
"You honestly think you can control that madness? I lived the Time War, I think that makes me an expert", he laughed at Kovarian, "and even if you make it past them, I will stop you". The threat was there, but the heart was not, the Doctor still felt empty.
"We've been in your TARDIS, how nice you you to put a guide of the Time War on display for us, it's almost like you want us to succeed." She gave it a moment to sink to sink before continuing with a wry smile. "You will have your part to play in the fall of Gallifrey, but you won't stop us. You fail to see it Doctor, we have broken you, or rather you have broken yourself."
The Doctor stood dumbstruck, he didn't know what to say, he was aware what she was talking about, but was sure she was about to explain further. "Go on, tell me"
"We have caused everything Doctor, where to begin. Captain Jack and his facial issue, tragic Sarah Jane's lonely death, such sadness, all on you. The formation of the Peaceful Passings care homes, the corruption of it's workers, you met Dr. Mann, didn't you, we met you in his room, we sent you here. The genocide of the Cybermen, to whom you extended your mercy, that one was tricky, we met some resistance from a young Time Lord. Oh, and you have your little plan with the plane, that was us too, we were in the museum, and now, look at what you have cost poor Martha Jones." She was enjoying this, the Doctor's lack of reaction told her she had won. "My personal favourite, the weapon. Again, thanks for that, without you it wouldn't have been possible, you opened it for us hack. Those poor Amphiprionines, the victims of your anger. You gave us RadiCorp, the greatest weapons company in the universe, so we made the best weapon possible. And now our assault on Gallifrey is possible."
The Doctor felt physically sick, she had played him like a fiddle all along, everything leading him here. To his defeat.
"What no reply Doctor? Don't you think my genius is worth praise?" She was enjoying this too much, she wanted to stay here talking to him forever, to bask in her own glory. "This will have to be goodbye, it's been nice chatting, I doubt we will be seeing each other again. Toodles, the Fall of Gallifrey is upon us."
